In Santa Ana, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across California, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 4 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (714) 957-3944. Stopped in here to get a dozen of specific donuts, so I didn't try them all... ONLY reviewing the ones I had a chance to taste. The vibe inside the shop was somber and bland. The service was ok, not as friendly as I have liked in other donut shops. The dozen was a bit on the high side, $15 for the box... The donuts were about average.. Tasted the twist, glazed as well as the cinnamon. The maple bar was also on tap for tasting. All three were not bad... Good chew. Flavor was not bad... I have had maple bars that make you pause and take a breath they are so good, not this bar. Very similar to what you can get at Vons or any grocery store bakery, but 2Xs as expensive for sure. The shop was clean and had seating. Didn't try their coffee or other drink options, but they were available. Over all, not bad, but not as awesome as I was hoping.

Here's an absolute treat. Fresh donuts, and a huge variety at that. 6 different Mochi donuts, yes...Mochi donuts. The strawberry is my favorite. The red velvet was good, but don't expect it to be anything like velvet cake in regards to texture. The ice brews are all amazing. They literally can your drink there on the spot. Ever see ice in a can? This is a must try. You won't be disappointed.

I want to start off by mentioning that I've been going to this place since before they revamped it. I have worked in the area for 2 years and have always gone to get Chinese Food there. That is to say that for me, the highlight of this place was ultimately the Chinese food so I might be a little biased. That being said, I have gone 2 times since they opened, once through the drive thru and the other in person, today actually (7/11/22). The donuts at this place are your average donuts, I want to be very honest, there is nothing that really makes them stand out from the rest. They made it look really nice, but a nice place with mediocre food will not bring in customers. They did add Mochi Donuts which were good, mushy like a Mochi, the flavors were good. The only reason that for me Mochi Donuts isn't groundbreaking is that the people purchasing donuts here are probably small businesses in the area ordering a dozen generic donuts for their employees. I wouldn't go in for Mochi Donuts. The employees also mentioned that they want to bring sandwiches into the menu which is alright but I think, if latinos want a sandwich, we'll just get a torta and there are plenty of taco trucks dr

12/4/2025 = 1 Star = after more than a year I tried again, but this time I tried Donut holes, I bought 4 dozen $15 total , 1 dozen would be $3.75, and I notice that it did not fill the whole box , I might skip this store for a donut . 3/27/2024 = 2 Star = 1st time to Order a Dozen Donut charges me $18 , coz i pick and choose what i want , if you order mix charge you $16 , will not recommend this anymore. 4/27/2023 = 4 Star = We finally tried and we love their shakes , but no more Chinese food. Add 1 star coz costumer service are good . 5/31/2022 = 3 Star = it used to be Donut and Chinese Food , we really like this store before and we thought that they doing renovation but looks like it's changing name too, i give 3 star coz it's taking so long to open, once done we will try it and will see if will add or will minus the stars.
